GMO Journal of Ship and Marine Technology (GMOShipMar); is a journal that has been published annually since 1955, aiming to improve its members’ knowledge about the profession of ship and marine technologies, to develop the sector especially in the interests of the country and to announce technological innovations. GMOShipMar is an international, refereed, multidisciplinary scientific journal that has been published at least 2 times a year. In the journal; scientific research articles, reviews, technical notes, book reviews, letters to the editor, and extended reports of conferences and meetings, particularly in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Maritime Technology, Machinery, Electrical / Electronics, Industrial Engineering and other related sciences. Articles in the journal are published in Turkish or English. Following Open Access Model of Publishing, GMOShipMar presents a variety of scientific viewpoints. The authors are responsible for the scientific, contextual, and linguistic aspects of the articles published in the journal. The views expressed or implied in this publication, unless otherwise noted, should not be interpreted as official positions of the institution. In the journal, double-blind review system, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, is used throughout the review process.
