Our journal has printed and electronic formats. folklore&literature is a social publication that provides social services to contribute to the institutions and individuals engaged in scientific research as a publication of studies prepared in the academic field. This journal is published four times a year in February, May, August and November. The publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English, and the titles, abstracts and key words of all printed articles, even in Turkish, are also available in English.Upon receiving approval from the Publication Committee and Editor, the article is sent to two expert reviewers in the associated field. During the evaluation period, the article will go through double blind review process. In the event there is a conflict between reviewer’s final reports, the article will either be sent to a third reviewer or a decision will be made by both the Publication Committee and Editor. Authors are required to make the suggested or necessary corrections during the evaluation process. In the event where authors disagree with the suggestions made, they need to indicate this with justifications. The final decision is made by the Publication Committee. Articles sent to the journal are not returned. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Publication copyright contracts are not required for works uploaded to the system to be published in our journal. Folkor/edebiyat journal does not charge authors or authors’ institutions for submitting, processing or publication of articles. Workloads uploaded to the system are considered transferred. The author (or authors) accept this situation and they are included in this system of approval to act in accordance with the publication guidelines of the journal.Articles are sent with Article Monitoring Software (Run Article). The author ( or authors) are unilaterally responsible for such issues as plagiarism, etc., not carried out in accordance with the relevant law and sent for publication in our journal and can be determined in accordance with the conditions specified in the other sections.
